Hand grenades found in house of people accused of terror hyperlinks: Delhi Police

New Delhi: Days after two people have been arrested over their suspected hyperlinks with terror organisations, the Delhi Police’s Special Cell has recovered two hand grenades from their rented lodging in Bhalswa Dairy space, officers mentioned on Saturday.

Traces of human blood have been additionally found at their residence, police mentioned.

The accused, Jagjit Singh alias Jagga and Naushad, have been arrested by the cell on Thursday over their suspected hyperlinks with terror organisations and involvement in heinous crimes.

Delhi Police spokesperson Suman Nalwa mentioned the accused have been produced in courtroom on Friday and despatched to 14-day police custody.

“During the investigation, in pursuance of disclosure, each the accused led the police crew to their rented lodging at Shradhanand Colony in Bhalaswa Dairy space from the place two hand grenades have been recovered,” Nalwa mentioned.

Jagga is suspected to have hyperlinks with a Canada-based Khalistani terrorist, that they had mentioned, including Naushad had been related to terror outfit ‘Harkat ul-Ansar’.

Jagga is a member of the infamous ‘Bambiha’ gang and has been getting directions from anti-national parts based mostly overseas. He is a parole jumper in a case of homicide in Uttarakhand, police had mentioned.
