How to Make Snake Gourd Poriyal Recipe

  • Heat oil in a kadai. Add in all of the seasoning components and let it crackle for a min.
  • Add in onions and saute for a min until it turns translucent.
  • Add in chopped snake gourd and saute for a few minutes.
  • Add in salt and sambar powder and saute properly.
  • Pour in a splash of water and canopy the pan. Cook this for five -10 minutes until the snake gourd is cooked.
  • Now take away the lid and saute the poriyal on excessive warmth for five minutes.
  • Serve with rice and any curry of your alternative.
