Spinach Soup

I’ve been making soup very often these days. Each time i make it should completely different vegetable and completely different fashion. There is 2 advantage of this, one it’s wholesome for us and one other i get extra recipes for my website..This is a wholesome creamy spinach soup which i made few days again and beloved it. This is a low fats model, i did not add cream in it, as an alternative i blended cornstarch with milk to offer creaminess and it actually labored. So do this out and let me know the way it turned out for you..

Ingredients for Spinach Soup

  • Oil – 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon / Pattai – 1 small stick
  • Bay Leaf – 1
  • Cloves / Krambu – 4
  • Onions – 1 medium measurement chopped finely
  • Garlic – 3 cloves chopped
  • Palak / Spinach – 3 cups chopped roughly
  • Salt to style
  • Pepper to style
  • Cornflour / Corn Starch – 1 tbsp
  • Cold Milk – ½ cup
  • Water as wanted

How to make Spinach Soup

  1. Heat oil in a soup pot, add in bay leaf, cinnamon and cloves. Saute it for a min.
  2. Add in onions, garlic and saute it for couple of minutes.
  3. Add in chopped palak and saute it for five to 7 minutes until it shrinks and uncooked scent leaves away.
  4. Now take away the entire spices out and add the combo to a blender and puree it easily.
  5. Pour this puree again into the pot and wash the blender with some water and pour that in. Add in required quantity of water.
  6. Put this again on range, add salt and pepper and produce it to boil.
  7. Now combine corn flour with milk. Pour this into the soup and blend effectively.
  8. Simmer it for couple of minutes.Serve sizzling.
