Sri Lanka receives US $ 1 billion financial assistance from SBI,
State Bank of India will present $ 1 billion in financial assist to Sri Lanka, the finance ministry stated.
The Ministry of Finance stated Sri Lanka is being loaned to assist purchase meals, medication and different important gadgets.

In a sequence of tweets, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and External Affairs Minister S Jai Shankar met with Sri Lanka’s Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa and mentioned a number of points. Meanwhile, a US $ 1 billion financial deal has been signed between SBI and the federal government of Sri Lanka.
Earlier, India’s Export and Import Bank had introduced a $ 500 million assistance to Sri Lanka, which is dealing with financial hardship.
