Cuttack: At least one individual was killed and 20 injured in a stampede during the Makar Mela in Odisha’s Cuttack district on Saturday. The situation of 4 of them is vital, police stated.

A girl recognized as 45-year-old Anjana Swain died in the incident. Badamba-Narasinghpur MLA and former minister Debi Prasad Mishra stated that 4 significantly injured individuals have been admitted to SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack.

Other injured individuals have been admitted to Community Health Center (CHC) in Badamba, Mishra stated.
